Chefs Cycle is an annual fundraising campaign, culminating in a three-day, 300-mile cycling endurance ride featuring award-winning chefs and members of the culinary community fighting hunger outside the kitchen. Since 2015, the culinary talents who take part in Chefs Cycle help raise critical funds, which No Kid Hungry uses to help communities across the country feed kids. Chefs Cycle 2024

Chefs Cycle is returning to Santa Rosa for the sixth year and we are excited to be back at The Flamingo Resort. The annual three-day, 300 mile ride throughout Sonoma County is a celebration of our rider’s dedication to fundraising in support of No Kid Hungry’s mission and raising critical funds to ensure every child in the United States has access to healthy food in order to grow and thrive.

Fundraising Requirements

With a focus on mission impact, riders agree to a registration fee of $100, and to fundraise a minimum of $4,000. These funds will secure accommodations and entry into the ride, as well as support the No Kid Hungry campaign in doing our part to end childhood hunger in America. The $100 registration fee will go towards the required fundraising minimum. The fundraising minimum is required to be met by June 21, 2024.

The Chefs Cycle team supports all riders with fundraising resources, strategy calls, event based fundraising support, and toolkits to master the art of fundraising, including how to host restaurant-based events or promotions supporting Chefs Cycle. Our goal is that every rider is fully equipped with the tools necessary to effectively fundraise. Fundraising assistance including but not limited to: personal fundraising website, fundraising toolkit, examples for crafting strong social media outreach, draft letters/emails for outreach to your network, BBB best practice guidance for in-restaurant fundraising and more.

As with any fundraising project, we encourage riders to register early and schedule time with the Chefs Cycle team to plan and strategize their fundraising efforts with as much lead time as possible.
